About the event
Drag is a Cabaret is the new (and only) drag Cabaret show (in a theatre setting) in Rancho Cordova. Sit down, get comfortable and meet your local drag performers (both seasoned and new). Get ready for a variety show filled to brim with comedy, glitter, lip-syncs, live singing and LOTS of hairspray.
Drag is a Cabaret will be presented every last Wednesday of the month. Hosted and MC'd by Sacramento's own CoCo BeChamel, each show will feature a headliner, and two, new up and coming Drag Queens and Drag Kings.
Unlike the typical drag shows seen at bars, Drag is a Cabaret will be performed in a theatrical setting and be more like "Drag Cabaret" will full theater lights and sound, and in some cases augmented with video and slides.
This is a going to be a unique and special series like nothing else in Sacramento.
